The Université Grenoble-Alpes (UGA) is a large, public university, enrolling about 45,000 students, and accredited by the French government. The UGA offers courses in all major disciplines: humanities and social sciences, science and medicine, engineering and technology, business and law. In addition, the UGA is committed to inter-disciplinary studies, with experts in fields such as the digital humanities which cross traditional disciplinary boundaries.
